Disclosure Policy Added

Dear Readers of Everyday EMS Tips,

As you may be aware many bloggers are adding disclosure policies to clearly articulate the relationship the blog owner may have with advertisers, content contributors, and products reviewed on the blog. Following the lead of many top bloggers I have created and added a disclosure policy using the disclosure policy generator from http://disclosurepolicy.org/.

Blogging for me is an additional outlet to create new content and share links to the other online education content I create as website articles, podcasts, and online education lessons. Since Everyday EMS Tips started I have received lots of terrific feedback from readers about both the original content and the links to my other content as well as links to the content created by other EMS professionals. Thanks so much for your feedback.

I also blog for revenue through pay-per-click advertising, affiliate program sales, and direct sales of my own products like the Networking Ebook for EMS Professionals. If you want to discuss with me opportunities to advertise or sell your products on this site please contact me on how your business or organization can connect with my growing and loyal audience.

As of this writing I have not been paid to review products or services. If and when that time comes I will disclose those relationships. I do regularly receive products at no cost from EMS equipment vendors. Some just send me stuff. Some ask if I want a particular product. Sometimes I just ask, “hey can I have one of those.” I have not and will not write glowing comments about a product just because I received it for free. I always follow my mom’s sage advice, “if you don’t have something good to say, don’t say anything at all.”

Throughout my professional career the comment I have most consistently heard from my supervisors, mentors, and co-workers is that they always know where I stand. I am proud of being an honest, no hidden agenda, straight shooter. You can count on knowing where I stand. I feel this is essential to both earning your trust and building a relationship that exceeds a passive transfer of information from me to you. Instead it helps initiate a process to learn from one another to advance our profession.

Meanwhile if you ever have questions about my intentions with this blog, my relationship with the products and services discussed here, or my connections with other EMS professionals just ask. You can write in the comments section of any post, email me at greg dot freise at everydayemstips dot com, or find me on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. You could even ask for my phone number and call me.

Thanks for reading, contributing, and helping me grow EverydayEMSTips.com. I appreciate your support and I am especially grateful when you tell other EMS professionals about the content here.

Best regards,
Greg Friese, MS, NREMT-P
